Shoot It Live is a service intended for websites, where on-the-field photographers publish photos of current events live as they unfold, from any location with 3G coverage.

Shoot It Live / Voogly AB (previously Livebloggen) was founded in the spring of 2008 and is today used by Scandinavia’s largest newspapers in their online publications.

How it works

The camera(*) connects to the Internet through Wi-Fi or 3G. The photographer decides which photos to publish by a click of a button on the camera, no need for a computer. The photos are shown in the flash media player embedded on the website within a matter of seconds. Simply copy and paste the embed code into your web page, no additional adjustment to your publishing system (CMS) is required.
(*) The camera needs to be equipped with a Wi-Fi transmitter.

Shoot It Live is compatible with all publishing systems (CMS) that supports HTML mode such as Polopoly, Escenic, WordPress, Drupal, EPiServer and others.

Live blogging powered by Twitter

Shoot It Live has Twitter support and can show posts next to the photo feed filtered on author(s) or hashtag. When the Twitter and photo feeds are used together Shoot It Live becomes a powerful live blog application.
The Twitter posts will directly be displayed on the website with Twitter nicknames, avatars and time-stamps.
